Instructions
Peel, pit, and place the avocados in a mixing bowl, then mash to your preferred consistency.
Stir in the pressed garlic, lime juice, cumin, salt, and pepper until evenly combined.
Dice the grape tomatoes, red onion, and jalapeño into small, even pieces.
Add the diced tomatoes, onion, and jalapeño to the avocado mixture and stir until well combined.
Let sit for 10–15 minutes to allow the flavors to come together.
Taste and adjust seasoning if needed, then serve.

Choose ripe avocados:
Use avocados that yield slightly to gentle pressure for a smooth mash and consistent texture.
Adjust heat level:
Use less jalapeño for a milder dip or include more for added heat.
Add cilantro if desired:
Finely chop and mix in with the seasonings for a fresh herbal layer.
Prevent browning:
Press plastic wrap directly onto the surface before storing to limit air exposure.
