6' long jute twine

Instructions
Fold twine lengths:
Lay the three pieces of jute twine together, then fold them in half to create six strands.
Tie hanging loop:
About 6" down from the fold, tie a secure knot to form a top loop for hanging.
Anchor strands:
Place the twine on a flat surface with the loop at the top and weigh it down.
Make base knots:
Tie three pairs of strands (2 per pair), each about 12" below the top loop.
Form second row:
About 1 1/2" below those knots, pair one strand from each adjacent set and tie knots, forming a net pattern.
Repeat pattern:
Tie a third row of interwoven knots 1 1/2" below the second set.
Finish the base:
Gather all six strands 1 1/2" below the third row and tie them together in a single knot to form the base of the holder.
Insert the jar:
Gently open the woven twine and slide in the mason jar.
Add the tea light:
Place the tea light inside the jar, light it, and hang your new lantern.

Notes
Use wide-mouth jars:
These are easier to insert and remove candles from.
Measure evenly:
Keeping knots evenly spaced ensures a balanced holder.
Hang securely:
Always double-check that your loop and knots are strong before hanging.
Choose natural jute:
Thicker natural jute twine provides the best hold and rustic look.
