Instructions
Toast the bread until golden brown and crisp.
Slice the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
Add lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper (if using).
Mash with a fork until smooth or slightly chunky, based on preference.
Spread the avocado mixture evenly over the toasted bread.
